Dell Latitude C600 in Pristine Condition

After I (Unfortunately) sold my Dell Latitude D505 as someone was looking for a cheap computer to use iTunes and their iPhone, I started looking for a replacement to that laptop. I wasn't looking for any specific machine; I would have purchased anything as long as it was a laptop, was less than $30, and was from 2004 or earlier. This Latitude C600 was the first thing I saw that fit my specifications.

This laptop is in incredibly good condition. The laptop's body is nearly unscratched, it has no other body damage and there is almost no wear on the keyboard or touchpad. Either it was used rarely, plugged into a keyboard and mouse and only ever used on a desk or someone took really good care of it. Or it has replacement parts. I really don't know, but it's in very good condition.

This laptop has 256MB of RAM. It's possible that the memory was upgraded at some point but it's also possible that it was configured at purchase with 256MB of RAM. This laptop is limited to 512MB of RAM, but people have supposedly gotten away with installing up to 1GB. Don't quote me on this - I don't know how true it is.

I don't think the 20GB IBM TravelStar hard drive is original to the machine, unless of course, it was configured at purchase. It's a noisy drive, but it works.

As for the processor, it's sporting an 850MHz Pentium III processor. Although it has a lower clock speed than the Dell Latitude D505 I had (It had a 1.3GHz Intel Celeron) it's very responsive and snappy, even when running Windows XP Service Pack 3. Of course, Windows 2000 is a more appropriate operating system for this laptop, and it's not as hard on the computer as Windows XP is.

Since the video, I reformatted the hard drive and installed Windows 2000. I had backed up the games seen in this video, and wiped the rest. It works flawlessly - at this very moment, I'm working on getting the Netgear Wireless PC card adapter to work. Unfortunately the Netgear Wireless Assistant software is bugged and does not actually work, so I'm looking for a new solution.

Here is the abnormally long video on YouTube.
