HP Compaq dc7600 with AMD Radeon Graphics

This is an overly-long video showcasing this small form factor PC, and demonstrating Skyrim's and Mass Effect 2's performance on this computer.

I know I did a video about this machine a little while ago; I just felt it would be a good idea to post a new video considering the fact that I know a little bit more about it and the fact that I have installed a dedicated graphics card in it.

This is one of HP's Compaq-branded desktops aimed at the business and school markets. Its small footprint, toolless design and optimum cooling capacity allow the machine to be run 24/7 in an office or classroom situation.

This particular machine was manufactured sometime in 2006, putting it at the end of the infamous capacitor plague. Fortunately, this computer is free of bloated capacitors. All capacitors regulating voltage to the CPU are high quality, polymer-based electrolytic capacitors, which are more resistant to heat than the general water-based electrolytic capacitors.

Of course, I'm sure you're more interested in this computer's specs. Well, they are as follows:

Windows XP Professional
3.0GHz Pentium 4 630; hyperthreaded
4GB DDR2-667 RAM
AMD Radeon R5 230 (AMD Radeon HD 6450) 1GB GPU
250GB Seagate SATA hard disk

I demonstrate the gameplay performance of Skyrim, Mass Effect 2 and Minecraft on this computer. I have a more detailed post on my blog, including graphics settings and frame rates, as well as Geekbench and Cinebench benchmarks.
